Green River District reports 14 new COVID deaths, over 3K cases since Fri.

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - On Wednesday, the Green River District Health Department reported 3,089 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and 14 new COVID-19 related deaths.

That’s since their last update on Friday.

Officials say of the new cases, 1,365 were in Daviess County, 810 were in Henderson County, 262 were in Ohio County, 236 were in Union County, 186 were in Webster County, 125 were in McLean County and 105 were in Hancock County.

The COVID-19 related deaths included 11 residents of Daviess County, and one resident from each Henderson, McLean and Union County.

The district is now reporting an average of 538.1 cases a day.

Hopkins County Health Department is reporting four more coronavirus-related deaths and 1,757 new cases over the past week.

Health officials in Muhlenberg County reported 133 new cases Wednesday.

  • Daviess Co. - 23,699 cases, 336 deaths, 57.79% vaccinated
  • Muhlenberg Co. - 7,833 cases, 101 deaths
  • Hopkins Co. - 9,671 cases, 220 deaths
  • Ohio Co. - 5,969 cases, 91 deaths, 43.20% vaccinated
  • Henderson Co. - 10,642 cases, 140 deaths, 56.55% vaccinated
  • Webster Co. - 3,107 cases, 48 deaths, 50.34% vaccinated
  • McLean Co. - 2,056 cases, 46 deaths, 53.32% vaccinated
  • Union Co. - 3,472 cases, 52 deaths, 45.52% vaccinated
  • Hancock Co. - 1,919 cases, 21 deaths, 64.45% vaccinated
