Pie Pan back open after staffing issues caused closure
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Pie Pan is open once again in Evansville.
The restaurant had to close last week due to staffing problems.
Assistant manager Alysha Camp says the shut down came as a last resort to avoid over working her staff and losing anyone.
Although they have reopened, Pie Pan will no longer be open during the evening Monday through Thursday.
”Hiring has been a really hard situation for us recently, even though we have very competitive pay, flexibility. We’re a fun place to work. It’s really hard to compete with the government’s deep pockets,” said Camp.
Camp says they are still in need of 10 to 15 positions. Those interested in applying can do so inside the restaurant.
