INDIANAPOLIS (WFIE) - Indiana Pacers Head Coach Nate Bjorkgren was fired Wednesday, according to several sources.

Bjorkgren’s lone season with the Pacers ended with a 24-38 record, failing to qualify for the NBA Playoffs.

Indiana Team President Kevin Pritchard says the Pacers will move quickly to identify candidates, but provided no timetable for a hire.

Bjorkgren previously worked as an assistant coach with the Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns.
