Captain Deborah Borchelt announces bid for Gibson Co. Sheriff

GIBSON CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Another nominee is throwing their hat into the race for Gibson County Sheriff.
Captain Deborah Borchelt announced her bid for the position Tuesday morning.
That spot will be vacated by the current sheriff, Timothy Bottoms, due to the mandatory two-term limit for all Indiana sheriffs.
That primary election is happening on May 3, 2022.
