Deputies: Ohio Co. shooting could be self-defense

McHENRY, Ky. (WFIE) - Authorities say they believe Friday’s shooting in Ohio County could be self-defense, but it will be up to a grand jury to decide.

According to the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, deputies received a call about a man getting shot at a home on Howard Street in McHenry.

One authorities arrived on scene, they discovered 33-year-old Joshua Annis, of Morgantown, with a gunshot wound in his lower abdomen.

He was flown to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Deputies say he had been shot by 42-year-old Josh Moore, of McHenry.

They say the investigation is ongoing.
