Owensboro Commissioners hear city budget proposal

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Owensboro Commissioners heard the first reading of the latest Owensboro city budget.

City Manager Nate Pagan says the $131 million budget will provide cash for police officer body cams, better training for firefighters, new paving work and new signage.

No tax rates are changing as part of the budget.

Commissioners will hear the budget for a second reading at a future meeting.
