Dawson Springs Independent Schools vote to return to in-person learning 4 days a week

Gov. Beshear issues new executive order on Ky. schools

DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WFIE) - Dawson Springs Independent School System Board held a meeting Tuesday evening to discuss returning to in-person classes.

School officials say leaders have voted. On March 1, students and teachers will have a virtual day. Tuesday through Friday will be in-person.

Starting the following week, students who choose to can return in-person on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday will serve as a remote learning and deep cleaning day.

Other items on the agenda included approving a date for graduation.
