EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Emge’s Deli announced Thursday morning that they will be leaving downtown Evansville after 45 years.
Owners say their current property owners decided to do something different with the building.
However, they’re excited for the move and look forward to seeing store regulars and new customers at their new location.
“It’s really exciting. We’re ready for some changes,” shared owner Tracie Jones. “It’s going to be bittersweet leaving downtown, but it’s something new. A lot of our customers when we posted it on Facebook, they were talking about “Well, great! Better parking.” It’s going to be good for everybody.”
Jones tells us she plans on adding new items once they move.
Their last day downtown will be on March 19.
They will be moving to Northbrook Shopping Center across from the Old National Bank at First Avenue and Buena Vista.
