Driver killed in Henderson/Union Co. line crash

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Highway 60 in Henderson County is back open after a multi-vehicle accident shut it down.

Kentucky State Police say it happened around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday near the Union County Line.

Deputies say truck heading east was driven by 57-year-old Randy Hobgood of Morganfield.

They say he drove into the path of a Jeep, and the driver of a third vehicle was unable to avoid the Jeep because of the road conditions.

Hobgood was taken to the hospital, but died of his injuries.

The driver of the Jeep was hurt and taken to the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.
