NCAA donates masks
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The city of Evansville is able to provide free PPE thanks to some help from the NCAA.
Deputy Mayor Steve Schaefer tells us the city has received around 5,000 masks thanks to a partnership between the NCAA and the state of Indiana called “Mask Madness”.
These March Madness themed masks are free to the public, and can be picked up at the CK Newsome Center, while supplies last.
The program hopes to encourage safe mask wearing while also promoting the various NCAA tournament events that will be happening in the state this spring.
