POSEY CO., Ind. (WFIE) - Three people are facing charges after a high-speed chase overnight in Posey County.
The sheriff says the chase started around 11:40 at State Road 62 at Fox Hollow Drive when a deputy tried to pull a driver over for having only one headlight.
The sheriff says the driver led them on a high-speed chase into Vanderburgh County and then back into Posey with deactivated tail lights. The sheriff says the SUV got stuck when the driver drove through a farm field.
Authorities say 28-year old Brandyn Cox, 24-year old Payton Hodges-Scarbrough, and 22-year old Meredith Hodges-Scarbrough were found hiding in a nearby home addition that was under construction.
They’re all facing resisting and assisting criminal charges.
