INDIANA (WFIE) - Three local counties are on the list to receive state funding to help improve water quality.
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture awarded more than $975,000 to more than a dozen districts and organizations.
Dubois County will get $99,000, Pike County will see $42,000 and Spencer County will receive $80,000.
The Clean Water Program provides financial help to landowners trying to reduce runoff and assist jurisdictions with staff hires and technical assistance.
