OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - After working with local and state health authorities, Kentucky Wesleyan College is happy to announce that a limited number of spectators will be permitted to basketball games at The Owensboro Sportscenter starting on Thursday, January 7.
Tickets for Thursday vs. Tiffin and Saturday vs. Cedarville will go on sale on Wednesday at 8:00 AM online at www.owensborotickets.com. Tickets will also be available on game day at the box office at the following times:
- VIP Access season ticket holders – 90 minutes before tipoff
- General Public – 60 minutes before tipoff
The capacity will be limited to 15% which will allow for 750 spectators to attend. A predetermined number of seats will be reserved for the families of student-athletes and coaches as well as students, faculty, and staff of Kentucky Wesleyan. All remaining seats will be sold as general admission tickets. There will be no reserved seats and no season tickets sold this year due to the limited capacity and distancing requirements in the seating area. Spectra has developed a fixed seating chart that allows for appropriate distancing between groups. Seats will be available in blocks of 1-6 seats. Unavailable seats will be clearly marked and sitting in those seats will not be permitted. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.owensborotickets.com or on game day at The Sportscenter box office.
All spectators will be required to wear a mask that covers the face and nose. Masks must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking.
Season ticket holders from the 2019-20 season received a VIP Access Card in the mail. This card will allow them entry into The Sportscenter 30 minutes prior to the general public in order to select a seat. Upon entrance, ushers will be available to assist in locating a seat. This card is NOT a ticket for admittance.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the hospitality room will not be offered this season. Additionally, there will not be priority parking available. All fans attending games will be required to enter the main entrance of The Sportscenter which may alter parking preferences.
Kentucky Wesleyan will continue to evaluate ticketing policies and procedures with our partners at Spectra Venue Management and provide updates on any changes.
