State map shows 40 new COVID-19 deaths; 146 new cases in Vanderburgh Co.

INDIANA (WFIE) - The Indiana State Department of Health is reporting 6,983 new coronavirus cases and 40 new deaths on Saturday.

This brings the total in the Hoosier state to 289,183 confirmed positive cases along with 4,992 total COVID-19 related deaths.

According to the state map, there are 146 new coronavirus cases in Vanderburgh County, 67 in Gibson County, 42 in Warrick County, 40 in Spencer County, 37 in Dubois County, 21 in Posey County, 12 in Perry County and seven in Pike County.

  • Vanderburgh Co. - 9,091 cases, 111 deaths
  • Dubois Co. - 2,258 cases, 30 deaths
  • Warrick Co. - 3,044 cases, 72 deaths
  • Perry Co. - 798 cases, 21 deaths
  • Posey Co. - 1,152 cases, 13 deaths
  • Gibson Co. - 1,690 cases, 20 deaths
  • Spencer Co. - 782 cases, 7 deaths
  • Pike Co. - 489 cases, 18 deaths
