WARRICK CO., Ind. (WFIE) - One Tri-State hospital is hoping to bring the power of puppy to its patients.

Encompass Health Deaconess Rehabilitation Hospital teamed up with the Warrick Humane Society to host a puppy parade.

Officials say they hope it will bring some positivity to their patients.

They’ll be able to see the puppies from outside their windows starting at 12:30 p.m.

One patient tells us the puppy parade brightened her day.

“It”s just something different to get out of our rooms and be able to come outside and love on 'em, and they were all so happy it made a lot of us really enjoy our day," said Hannah Riney.

All of the dogs are available for adoption at the Warrick County Humane Society.
