HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WFIE) - We’re just about two months from Election Day, and the race for the Kentucky Senate seat is heating up.
Amy McGrath is continuing her tour through the Commonwealth.
She’ll be making a campaign stop in Henderson Monday at Audubon Mill Park.
McGrath spoke about her “Mission: Rebuild Kentucky” - which includes policies for affordable health care among other things alongside former NBA player and recovery advocate, Rex Champman.
“We have the second-highest per capita spending on prescription medication in the country, and Mitch McConnell won’t even allow any of the six bipartisan bills that have passed the house even see the floor of the senate, think about that, this guy’s gotta go,” said McGrath.
