EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police are investigating a couple of armed robberies at two different Evansville convenience stores.

The most recent one happened around 2:30 Friday morning at Circle K on East Riverside near Boeke.

Officers say a man walked in, showed a gun, and got away with the money.

They say no one was hurt.

Officers tell us no arrests have been made.

EPD was able to obtain pictures of the suspect of this robbery as well as the suspected getaway car.

The other reported robbery happened around 8 Thursday night at Kwik Stop on Pollack Avenue.

The clerk told police a masked man showed a rifle and ordered her to open the money drawer.

He got away with that money and some cigarettes.

Authorities believe the robberies are connected to a robbery Friday in Elberfeld.

That story will show updates in all the cases.

Late Friday afternoon, our cameras captured a man in custody and car being towed at the Chuckles gas station on Green River Road in Evansville.
