EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Midget Links in Evansville is closing down after more than seven decades of business.
Business owners posted on their website saying they’re thankful for all the support they’ve had since opening in 1947.
Demolition started Wednesday and is expected to last several days.
Construction crews are letting people come by and pick up mementos before it’s all gone.
“It was a wonderful place - an icon in this area,” former customer Donna Puckett Ponce said. “I am so sad, as many people are, to see it go.”
The old-school style course with windmills and loops was one of the five oldest mini-golf courses in the country.
