INDIANA (WFIE) - The pandemic is impacting absentee voting in Indiana.

Gov. Eric Holcomb changed the rules by lifting the regular requirements.

[New local COVID-19 cases in Vanderburgh, Warrick counties]

Now, anyone can request to vote by an absentee ballot. Starting Monday, those ballots will be getting mailed out.

Applications will be accepted in every Indiana county through May 21. The primary election in Indiana has been rescheduled for June 2.
