Gibson Co., Ind. (WFIE) - The Gibson County Health Department now says they have two positive cases of COVID-19
Officials tell us one resident who tested positive for COVID-19 is over the age of 65 and the second patient is 33-years-old.
They say the cases are under investigation as they reach out to those who may have come in contact with these individuals.
Outside the Gibson County Health Department, there’s a sign asking the public not to enter if they are sick. They say they the public to call.
“Use common sense and protect yourself, and protect your family by not doing unnecessary things,” Gibson County Commissioner Mary Key said.
Key tells us the public can expect to hear more restrictions in the next few days regarding precautionary measures due to COVID-19.
