“We will get through this.”

He urged Kentuckians to flood social media with positive things that can be done.

Gov. Beshear says you can use the hashtags #TeamKentucky and #TogetherKY.

He said it is our civic and patriotic duty to be good citizens.

The governor then went on to say the 66-year-old resident of Bourbon County who tested positive for coronavirus has died. He said the virus was only one factor in his death.

The governor also announced he has ordered bars and restaurants must close their dining rooms.

Gov. Beshear said he hopes that would be done by 5 p.m. Monday.

He says they are working on a plan to help with that financial burden.

He urges Kentuckians to order take out or delivery meals to help support businesses.

The governor held two news conferences over the weekend, and gave two updates every day last week.

He says there will now be one update each day at 4 p.m. Central.
