Coronavirus cuts USI student’s study abroad program short

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A USI student, who left for a study abroad program in South Korea, is returning to campus soon after the coronavirus suspended the program.

The organization coordinating the study abroad programs, ISEP, suspended it because of the uptick in confirmed coronavirus cases and because the CDC recommends against non-essential travel to South Korea.

No other students or study abroad programs have been affected.
