Man wanted for murder arrested along I-64 in Vanderburgh Co.

VANDERBURGH CO., Ind. (WFIE) - A man wanted in connection with murder near Louisville has been arrested in the Tri-State.

Indiana State Police say they got a tip that 44-year-old Anthony Allen was possibly meeting his girlfriend at a truck stop in Gibson County.

Troopers say 42-year-old Tonya Middleton of Louisville is an over the road truck driver.

State police say they saw her semi leave the Pilot Truck Stop on U.S. 41 at Warrenton Road in Gibson county just after 11:00 Friday morning.

They say they saw her go west on I-64 and moments later, they pulled her over. Troopers say Allen was found inside.

Allen was wanted in connection with the murder of a 33-year-old man in Bullitt County on February 8.

Tonya was also arrested on an assisting a criminal charge.
