Sentencing date set for man accused of causing police chase crash that killed three people

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A sentencing date has been set for Frederick McFarland.

He entered a guilty plea, but the sentencing was put on hold last month.

Monday morning, the sentencing was set for March 4 at 9 a.m.

McFarland is accused of leading police on a chase that ended in a crash in November 2017.

The crash killed 7-month-old Prince Carter, 2-year-old Princess Carter, and their father Terrence Barker.
