Roads flooded, closed after Sat. storms

Sat. storms bring flooding across the Tri-State

TRI-STATE (WFIE) - Several roads across the area have been closed after severe weather moved through the Tri-State early Saturday.

As well as flooded roads, some people are dealing without any power.

Vectren says their crews are working at Browning Road where a tree fell and took down some power line.

In Kentucky, dispatch with Daviess and Hopkins counties report no major flooding or storm damage at this time.

According to KYTC, a couple of road sections in Henderson County are closed.

-KY 812, closed from mile marker 2-5

-KY 1557 is closed between mile markers 2-3

-KY 2247, closed from mile marker zero to 2

-KY 2248 is closed at the zero to 1 mile markers

According to KYTC, one road is closed in Muhlenberg County:

-KY 1380 is closed at the two to three mile markers

But, in Webster County, dispatch tells us they have several flooded roads:

-KY 132 west near KY 857, which is not passable according to Webster County EMA Facebook page.

-KY 270 is closed at the 6.9 to 8.5 mile marker

-KY 4836 is closed at the 0.5 to 1 mile markers

-Parts of KY 120 east are covered in water, around the 4000 block of SR KY east

For Union County, KYTC says two roads are closed because of water covering them.

-KY 492, closed from mile marker 10.5-8

-KY 760 is also closed from mile marker zero to 2.5

Also for Union County residents, dispatch says some AT&T customers are having trouble calling their office.
