HENDERSON CO., Ky. (WFIE) - Jail inmates are helping some hospice patients.

It's happening inside the Henderson County jail.

The jailer tells us it is part of the “Women’s Substance Abuse Program.”

Inmates hand make each shawl, which is then donated to Saint Anthony’s Hospice patients.

On Thursday the shawls were blessed and picked up to be delivered to the patients.
