OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - A new partnership will help community college students transition to a four-year university.
Owensboro Community and Technical College’s President announced on Wednesday students will easily be able to transer to Brescia University. They will be able to put 77 credit hours toward a bachelor’s degree, which could impact up to 350 students.
“We’ve always had arrangements and a partnership to collaborate with Brescia University," says OCTC President Dr. Scott Williams. "Because as I said really we share a core mission, let’s improve the quality of life for all in our community. So this just allowed us to reinforce and actually bring more to bare for many more students.”
Dr. Williams says as long as students have good academic standing at the technical college they should not have a problem transferring to Brescia University.
