Truck crashes through Evansville home

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A pickup truck crashed through a house in Evansville.

It happened Tuesday morning around 9:45 in the 6000 block of Kratzville Rd.

We’re told the driver of the truck lost control and crashed through the garage of the home.

No one was hurt.

The building commission was called in to help remove the truck.

“I thought it was a terribly, terribly loud clap of thunder. I didn’t feel any vibration. I was in the recliner. I didn’t feel any vibration. So, I came out and there was that pick-up truck half way through the rear wall,” said homeowner Robert Laubscher.

Laubscher has been in contact with his insurance company.

Police say the driver was given a ticket for reckless driving.
