Two-car crash causes traffic backup on I-69

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - A two-car crash caused a traffic snarl on I-69 in Evansville.

It happened Thursday morning around 5:30 near the 12.5 mile marker.

We’re told a car slowed for a semi on the side of the road and got rear-ended by the car behind it.

One person was taken to the hospital with minor cuts.

Dispatch says I-69 was closed for a short time between Boonville-New Harmony Rd. and Lynch Rd. while crews worked the scene.
