Local police agencies receive grants for safer school bus stops

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police are around the Tri-State are upping enforcement at the bus stop.

About 230 Police Agencies in Indiana are receiving federal grants to increase enforcement to watch for speeding and bus stop-arm violations.

The grants are from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.

In the Tri-State, EVSC, Newburgh, Princeton, Rockport and Tell City Police are all receiving grant money.
