Owensboro students rally to ‘stop the violence’

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Following a double murder, an unexpected group in Owensboro is pushing their message to “stop the violence”

It’s a group of young students that are part of an after school class at the H.L. Neblett Commmunity Center.

They made non-violence posters and marched on the streets to send a message.

It’s caught the attention of people passing by. Some hoked their horns and even stopped to take pictures with the students.
