Salvation Army growing fresh veggies in community garden

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Salvation Army on Fulton Avenue now has more than canned veggies.

They’ll be growing them fresh from their new community garden.

This is a first for the organization, but from fundraising and donations, they were able to get the seeds in place to start growing fresh.

The youngsters that help with the garden all summer will be rewarded with a trip to Holiday World.
