MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - A new 52 unit apartment complex is coming to Madisonville. The city council approved the plans Monday night.
It’ll be called Wyman Gardens. Plans call for a mix of one, two and three bedroom units. We’re learning there will be seven buildings.
The land has already been rezoned to “High Density” residential.
The city council’s approval was the last box to check before work could begin on the new complex.
“They’re gonna be really nice. Conceptual Drawing looks great. Again, it’s gonna be a huge asset for our community to have,” said Mayor Kevin Cotton.
The complex will have a computer lab, a small library, plus a playground and a community garden. Construction is expected to take a year.
