Neighborhood Watch: Man wanted in connection with shooting; armed robbery arrest

TRI-STATE (WFIE) - Evansville police are asking for your help to find a man wanted in connection with a shooting.

A warrant has been issued for Tyrell Culley, 20, on an aggravated battery charge and being a serious violent felon. Police say he is wanted in connection to the shooting of Robert Johnson on Tenth Street on May 1.

According to officers, Culley is also wanted for questioning in another investigation involving dealing marijuana and possession of a gun. If you have any information, call Evansville Police, 812-436-7896.

A Henderson man is in jail, accused of hitting a woman in the head with a brick.

A’Davion Cansler, 22, of Henderson is facing an assault charge. According to police, the woman and her passenger were in the area of Nolan’s Liquor Store.

The victim claims Cansler walked up to her car and hit her in the back of the head with the brick. She was taken to Methodist Hospital, but then transferred to Deaconess.

Cansler is being held without bond and will make his first court appearance on Thursday.

An update on an Evansville robbery investigation.

Larreek Timmons, 29, has been arrested in the case. Officers say he robbed Sam’s Food Mart on Columbia Street on May 7.

Officers say surveillance video shows Timmons going into the store and buying a soft drink and then leaving. A short time later, they say he came back in the store with a gun and robbed the clerk.

Timmons is facing an armed robbery charge.
