WEBSTER CO., KY (WFIE) - Nearly half a million dollars is coming to Webster County for road improvements.
Crews will be resurfacing more than six miles of rural county roads.
Judge-Executive Steve Henry says the roads chosen to be redone are in need of safety upgrades.
“We still have a lot of travel, a lot of people that go up and down those roads that live on them. Several homes are affected by this. We have several people that have houses that live along those roads so this is gonna help them and definitely help school buses as well as emergency services," Said Henry.
Judge-Executive Henry says the road work should begin in the summer of 2019.
