Neighborhood Watch: Henderson woman accused of financial abuse

TRI-STATE (WFIE) - A Henderson Woman is accused of financial abuse of a 75-year-old woman.

Henderson Police say 52-year-old Cynthia Simpson had been withdrawing more than $300 from the woman’s bank account without her knowledge.

Exploiting an adult is a felony. If convicted, Simpson could be sentenced to five to ten years in prison.

In Spencer County, two people are in jail after state police say they found a large amount of meth in their vehicle.

Indiana State Police say they pulled over 40-year-old Janet Duran of Grandview for speeding on I-64 this weekend.

Troopers say they became suspicious of possible drug activity and called in a K-9. They found a large amount of meth and other drug items.

Duran and her passenger, 30-year-old Corderro Sanders of Evansville were both arrested and are facing dealing meth and possession charges.
