EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - It’s springtime, and you may notice more road work popping up.
Wednesday night, INDOT held an open house to talk about some projects.
They discussed several upcoming highway projects, including the ongoing work on the Lloyd Expressway.
INDOT representatives got the chance to hear concerns, and thoughts on what can be done to improve transportation in and around Evansville.
“These meetings now are federally mandated. They can’t roll out any type of planning unless they get public feedback, so I’m in favor of the public mandated meetings. I think it’s important they get feedback on this so we can continue to have and develop a good relationship with city government,” said attendee Brent Jackson.
There are several other planned open houses. You can find times here.
