HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) - Kidnapping suspect Glenn Harper, 55-years-old, has been booked into the Hopkins County Jail.
The website shows he was booked over the weekend. His bond is set at $150,000 cash.
Harper was released from an Alabama jail early Tuesday morning. Officials would not give any information on his transport back to Hopkins County.
She was found safe.
On Monday, Harper made his first court appearance since being arrested earlier this month.
Harper was appointed a public defender during Monday’s court hearing. Since the judge determined him to be a flight risk, the bond amount was kept at $150,000.
“Specifically, based on the allegations that it was kidnapping of an underage child, transported out of the state of Kentucky, requiring extradition, I am going to adopt Judge Whitledge’s finding; he is a danger to the public and a flight risk, thank you,” stated Judge David Massamore.
Authorities have not yet said why Harper took the girl.
He will be back in court on April 26 at 9 a.m. for a prelim hearing.
