EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - Three Evansville men have been arrested for an alleged robbery that happened around 11:30 Friday night.
Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a home in the 1900 block of Wolverine Drive where a victim was said she was robbed.
The victim said several known male suspects pushed their way into the home and assaulted her before driving off with some of her belongings.
According to the News Releases, deputies later found a car in the area of Lafayette and Richardt Avenue and arrested 24-year-old Skylar Dillard and 23-year-old Aaron Lester.
They say Lester fought against deputies when they were trying to arrest him. They were both taken to Vanderburgh County Jail.
During the investigation, deputies learned the third suspect, 31-year-old Tyrone Clay, had been dropped off at his home on Evansville’s southeast side.
Deputies went to Clay’s home and saw him through an opened window. Officers then gave him several warnings to exit the home but Clay didn’t follow their orders.
A Sheriff’s Office K-9 was used to apprehend Clay. He was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries before being taken to Vanderburgh County Jail.
Clay, Dillard, and Lester are currently being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail on no bond. They are all facing robbery, theft, and residential entry charges. All three of them were also charged with possession of narcotics at the time of their arrest. Lester and Clay are also facing resisting charges.
Dillard is also facing a battery charges.
