Bar owners hope to get stolen items back, offer to buy lunch and clothes for people who took them

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The owners of High Score Saloon in Evansville are looking for two people who jumped the gate and stole from them.

“I pulled up the security footage because one of the things they stole was our security camera but we have cloud so they didn’t get footage they just got the hardware” said owner Jared Neible.

They posted surveillance pictures to their Facebook page. Here is a gallery of the images:

The thieves didn’t get away with much, but the owners hope the items are returned.

The owners say they know what it’s like to have hard times, and they don’t want to press charges.

After reviewing the footage the two owners noticed something different about this burglary

“They were just trying to get out of the elements it was really windy that night hadn’t started raining yet but they just sat under the stairs for quite a while” said Jared

Before work owner Jared Neible went driving around Evansville looking for two people he thought may need some help.

“Everybody has a bad time in their life. If we can help people out I mean that’s why we do the charity events and things like that”said Neible.

The owners are asking people to share the photos to help identify the people who broke in.

“Be kind in your responses and in life. You don’t know the situations that drive people to misfortune or misconduct,” the post says.

“If you know who it is just have them come down and talk to us we’re not planning on pressing any charges we just want to have a conversation with them” said Jared.

The owners Jared and Clint try to pay it forward and help others as much as they can.

Once a month they charge a cover of four dollars, and they donate one hundred percent of that money to local charities.
