CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - It’s the most talked-about moment of the Reds’ season so far, and now -- you can wear it.
You may have already seen the footage, but on Sunday Cincinnati outfielder Yasiel Puig looked as if he was taking on the entire Pittsburgh Pirates lineup after the benches cleared. The incident came after a Pirate hurler threw at/behind/too-close-to Reds’ utility man Derek Dietrich (at least in the eyes of Puig).
There has not yet been word from MLB on possible discipline. But there is a T-shirt.
On it? The Puig photo.
You can find it at Cincy Shirts. The image is framed like a piece of artwork on the shirt with the caption “El Guerrero Rojo" or the red warrior. Workers at the store say the shirt should be available in the coming days.
FOX19 is told Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart has already ordered a few dozen.
