Neighborhood Watch: Police looking to determine what led to son shooting his father, DCSO looking for stolen Polaris Ranger

TRI-STATE (WFIE) - In Hopkins County, State Police are working to determine what led up to a son shooting his own father.

22-year-old Abram Skinner was arrested. Detectives say he shot his father, 46-year-old Alexis Skinner.

Officials say this happened during the confrontation Friday on Campell Road.

Alexis was flown to St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

At last check, he is said to be in stable condition.

Abram has been charged with assault.


Porch Piracy is very popular around Christmas time, but it’s never really out of season.

An Evansville homeowner is hoping someone will recognize the woman who took her Amazon package.

The woman walked slowly past the house before quickly turning around, walking up onto the porch, and takes the box before slowly walking away with it.

It happened on East Columbia Street.

The victim posted the video on Facebook saying, “When you pick the wrong house to steal a package from.”

The video has more than 1,000 shares.

The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office would like your help locating a stolen ATV.

They say someone snatched this Polaris Ranger from a driveway on Floral Road late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.
