The news release from VCSO says in October, a 16-year-old’s parents contacted law enforcement officials after a man, who was later identified as Mueller, offered to pay the teen money for sex. The sheriff’s office states Mueller made contact with the teenager on the Facebook Messenger app.

While being interviewed by detectives, Mueller stated he has offered sex to multiple people through internet communications.

According to the VCSO, Mueller claimed he solicited this specific 16-year-old because of a grudge he held against the victim’s family.
