EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) - The Evansville Association for the Blind held their annual Christmas party and Cookie Baking Day on Saturday.

The event brings children who are visually impaired together for the day so they can enjoy the holiday tradition of baking cookies making holiday crafts and playing lots of fun games.

The Association for the Blind said days like this are so important for children to be able to around others who are going through similar situations.

One of the greatest take aways of the day was teaching the kids about how to measure ingredients for baking.
