HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) - Emergency crews were called to a crash on Highway 41A in Henderson County.
It happened around 11:15 a.m. Monday between Cairo and Poole, near KY 416. We are told a semi jackknifed and two other vehicles ended up in the ditch.
Deputies say Blake Bentley, 18-years-old, was driving north when he lost control and over corrected before hitting the southbound white SUV. That SUV was being driven by Keith Demoss, 61-years-old.
Also inside the SUV being driven Demoss, his wife Kelly and her mother, Mary Grim, 70-years-old.
Dispatchers tell us the road was closed between Dixon 1 Road and KY 416 for about two hours.
The semi driver slammed on his brakes to avoid it, which cause the trailer to jackknife and punctured the tank, spilling some diesel fuel
All four people were sent to the hospital for their injuries.
