KENTUCKY (WFIE) - Cigarette prices are going up in Kentucky by more than the additional tax just approved by the Governor.
On April 1, a carton of cigarettes will go up by $11. That's because cigarette makers have raised their prices.
Philip Morris says it's raising prices on Marlboro and other brands by up to 81 cents per pack.
Federal taxes go up in April by 62 cents per pack and Kentucky's tax increase is 30 cents per pack.
