Tamarac, FL (NBC) - A woman accused of trying to poison baby food is in a South Florida jail.

Investigators say this security camera video shows the woman putting a black substance into baby food and juice at a Publix Supermarket last week.

According to detectives, 50-year-old Shirley Ybarra told store workers she was fixing food for her son.

Ybarra's charged with poisoning food or water, which is a first-degree felony.

She was originally committed to a hospital and is now in jail. Investigators say Ybarra did not try to put the baby food back on the shelf.
