WASHINGTON (NBC) - All that's left is the President's signature.
With a late last minute vote from Senator Sherrod Brown, the Senate passed the 2009 Stimulus Bill with a vote of 60 for and 38 against, with three Republicans providing critical support.
The dollar total, a hefty $787 billion, hangs on the hopes of turning back the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression.
It was a great victory for the Democrats, since Republican opposition was nearly unanimous as it was in the house of representative.
