Three men arrested in armed robbery

EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE)- Three Evansville men are behinds bars after a home invasion robbery.

Police say 18-year-old Max Pea, 17-year-old Sam Robb and 27-year-old George Skinner, all of Evansville, were arrested after allegedly posing as federal agents and threatening a man with a gun.

It happened around eight Monday night at an apartment on Washington Avenue.

The victim, Gary McCord, says three men showed up at his door claiming to be federal agents.

When he asked for identification, McCord says one man displayed a gun and another struck him in the head.

McCord says the suspects ransacked his apartment, taking his wallet, cell phone and a large amount of cash before taking off.

The three suspects were arrested a short time later.

All three are in the Vanderburgh County Jail facing multiple charges including robbery with a firearm and criminal confinement.
