INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WFIE)- An Indiana lawmaker is pushing for a statewide smoking ban.
The ban would prohibit smoking in almost all enclosed public places.
That includes restaurants, bowling alleys, bars and casinos.
A similar piece of legislation came up last session but a vote was never taken.
Opponents of the bill say it would hurt businesses.
A similar ban went into effect in Illinois last January.
